je pencherais plutôt pour entresol comme vous dites... le problème est que sotano = sous-sol; or, l'entresol se situe généralement entre le RdC et le 1er étage...
je serais vous, j'attendrais la réponse d'un espagnol ;)

Explanation:
Il s'agit plus d'une façon de parler car le concept de "semisotano" n'existe pas en architecture (alors que "sotano" ou "planta baja" ou "entresuelo" si). J'imagine donc que "semisotano" doit s'appliquer à une partie d'une immeuble située légèrement en-dessous du rez-de-chausée, sans pour autant se trouver au niveau du sous-sol (peut-être un sous-sol dont la partie supérieure est ouverte).
