In my understanding, society is a broader concept than partnership, that is, partnership is only one kind of society, and it's generally translated into Chinese 合伙. So it would be logical to translate "civil partnership" as 民间合伙. Simplified Chinese: 民间合伙 Traditional Chinese: 民間合夥 But I am still not very sure about the essential character of "civil" here. Does it mean that such partnership is formed totally by individual citizens or private, non-commercial organizations, with no state, public-sector partipation? Or even more narrowly, merely by private persons? |
