I think it is a pseudonym- I am quite baffled by the phrase. You should check him out on YouTube.

Thanks a lot to all of the answerers I wish I could share the points as I went for a combination of David's and this one. I chose this answer as it was the 'X', which caused me most problems. A reference to sex does make sense in this context. In English x-rated or XXX would mean the same:

agree  Jim Tucker (X): this works - we had a long scrapple about cantautor a while back and "s-s" is what I used, but was voted down - you could also stick w "cantautor" if it's already in the context - also "par excellence" will work for "por ex."

Tampoco música porque los cantautores hacen música
Y sólo pondría "excellent" porque me parece un texto colloquial.
