Chinese term

跟隊

Chinese to English Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation Soccer
通常在那些不用預訂的公眾足球場都會有幾隊在等候, 先入球的隊伍可以留下繼續踢, 落敗的就由另一隊補上, 一直循環下去(以上的傳統俗稱 「跟隊」)。 若想留在場上久一點, 就必須比對方先入球, 所以大家都會全力以赴。 至於這種 「跟隊」 的比賽方式是香港獨有, 還是在世界各處普遍存在, 我就不得而知了。

'We got next'

I'm not sure if there is an English translation for this term but 'We got next' is what people say in U.S. for this winner stays losers out concept.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Both Mr Fu's and Wilman's answers sound great! However, the boy in my video said the word 'next' in his sentence (the sentence above is not my real source text). Hence, I am going with Wilman's answer. In addition, I found this: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=got+next. Thanks a lot, everyone. :)"

winner-dominated race

Hard to find an equivalent in English language, at least in my case. Then made one by my humble hand on your behalf.

queue up

我猜这里的“跟队”就是普通话的“排队”。小时候学打乒乓时就是这样,球技不好时,坐半天板凳才轮到,被强手几板子就打下来,又回到冷板凳上。逼得下决心提高技术。:) “跟队”的意思前文已交代清楚,这里又指明是“俗称”,所以按字面翻成“queue up”或“line up”即可。
