Spanish term or phrase: percial
Occurs in the phrase 'efectuándose el encargo percial al perito, Sr XXX,' referring to an expert witness assessing an insurance claim. I found a few legal references on Google, but could not determine the meaning. I also wondered if it was an error and might be 'parcial'

Expert's opinion//report
Explanation:
I am absolutely sure that the word is in fact pericial, which is the adjective of perito (expert witness). You can play with this quite a lot, in the sense that if you are sure that the task was a written report you can simply say that Mr. XXX was appointed to provide his expert opinion regarding...// or simply use the "expert's report". I hope it helps

pericial

Explanation:
I think it is "pericial", i.e., the appraiser's report. Redundant, I know, but that is Spanish insurance writing for ya.

expert assessment/testimony/adjustment

Explanation:
This is the act of assessing or testifying as to the nature of the claim. Except I believe it is a typo for "pericial". Refer to another glossary entry for pericial. If expert if already refered to offical assessment or adjustment may suffice.
