This is taken from a Brazilian Resolution on water pollution and effluent standards, and the word ' balneabilidade" crops up frequently, its obviously linked to the capacity for something to be washed or bathed but cant find any technical equivalent terms in English.
Any help most gratefully received.

agree Jefferson D Boyles, ELS : yes - "bathing water quality" in most studies . . . unfortunately, this term has often been incorrectly translated as "balneability", a word that doesn't exist.
