External interpreter in the team for the International Atomic Energy Agency, 3 week review mission to the Slovak nuclear power plants.
(edited) Large technical lexicon of some 100K words. One of the toughest challenges for a translator. Many lessons learned. 1 user Technical glossary of over 8K terms. Very challenging and inspirational, found new ways of automating some repetitive tasks.
Just finished Slovak/English subtitling project for an aspiring award winning Slovak documentary by the film director Robert Kirchhoff. The movie is a fascinating journey into the life of Alexander Dubček, a prominent political figure of the Prague Spring in 1968. I am very thankful for having been a part of this creative insight into the making of our history. Just finished expert technical interpreting at a gas storage facility in the Czech Republic, for a major industrial customer. The client checked the machines and trained the field engineers for the upcoming season. All is well now.
