Google’s parent company recently announced that plant-based meats are now the most important trend in the tech industry. With big money being invested in the future of animal-free protein sources, vegan versions of all animal-based foods are poised to become increasingly available, affordable and delicious. For years, vegan companies have been developing products aimed at fulfilling the demand for meat, and have done a very impressive job, providing vegans all over the world with deli slices, sausages, burgers, and more. But recently, as the interest and investment in plant-based meats has skyrocketed, companies like Beyond Meat, Impossible Foods, Gardein, and others have taken this development to a whole new level, using science and technology to identify the specific properties of plants and use them to make culinary magic.

A Google anyavállalata nemrég bejelentette, hogy jelenleg a technológiai iparágakban a legfontosabb trendet a növényi alapú húshelyettesítők jelentik. Az állatmentes fehérjeforrások jövőjébe egyre több pénzt invesztálnak, azért, hogy az összes állati eredetű étel vegán verziója egyre elérhetőbbé, megfizethetőbbé és finomabbá váljon. A vegán vállalatok éveken át fejlesztették a termékeiket, hogy kielégítsék a húshelyettesítők iránti keresletet. Lenyűgöző munkát végeztek, ellátva így a világ vegánjait finom 'hússzeletekkel', kolbászokkal, burgerekkel és egyebekkel. A közelmúltban viszont a növényi alapú húshelyettesítők iránti érdeklődés és befektetési szándék is szinte az égbe szökött, így olyan cégek mint pl. a Beyond Meat, az Impossible Foods, a Gardein és mások, teljesen új szintre emelték a fejlesztéseiket. A tudomány és a technológia segítségével igyekeznek azonosítani a növények specifikus tulajdonságait és ezeket kulináris varázslatok megalkotásához felhasználni.

Translation has always been my passion and hobby. I have been teaching English and German as a second job for about 20 years. Since 2015 it has become my main job, so now I work as a freelance private language trainer and translator. Since then I have gained experience in web content translation/localization, transcription, proofreading and subtitling.
Having a lot of experience in different professional fields and multicultural environment helped me obtain a 'living knowledge' of special terms and jargons of among others airline industry, logistics, shipping and warehousing.
My favourite special fields are animals, animal protection, veganism, literature, psychology, mediation and airline industry, but I am happy to translate in any other topic, as well.
