Desperate Sales, Pleading Sales Talk

This term refers to sales style of a desperate sales person in order to fulfill his/her sales quota. This would usually happen in well established or existing business relationship. It's different from Oshi Uri, which is aggressive salesmanship. It's closer to begging for PO.

(I don't know)

In お願い営業, a salesperson says to the customer, "お願いします。" He pleads to the customer, "Please, PLEASE buy this", possibly bowing many times. I think it is thought to be a simple-minded, not very effective way of selling. I don't know the English equivalent, though. Sorry.

relationship based pleading sales

The other party may respond to such pleading because they themselves may engaged in pleading sales for their own sales activities in the future or might have already done so and consider it necessary to reciprocate.
