A Die Setter is responsible for setting and operating metalworking machines, such as presses and die-casting machines, to produce metal parts and components. The Die Setter is expected to read blueprints and diagrams to determine the size and shape of the parts to be produced, and set up the machines accordingly. They must also monitor the machine's performance during production and make any necessary adjustments to ensure the parts meet the required specifications. The Die Setter must also perform regular maintenance on the equipment, and be able to troubleshoot any problems that arise.
