APTA

Portuguese to English Social Sciences Education / Pedagogy Angolan education system
Anyone familiar with the Angolan secondary education system? This appears to be the name of a school leaving examination.

"Concluiu no COLÉGIO XXXX o Ano Lectivo 2017, o II Ciclo do Ensino Secundário, na área de Ciências Físicas e Biológicas com resultado final de **APTA**, sob o processo n° 12FB20, no termo da pauta n° CN2017, Turma B, N° 20, Sala N° 31, arquivada nesta Escola, com as seguintes classificações:" There follows a table of examination grades.

Discussion

@Teresa Yes, I'm sure you're right, Teresa. I'd thought superficially that it was the initials of an examination. Would you like to post this as an answer?
@Lexical It's not the name of a school, it means that the student was approved (is apt)...

PASS

... with a final PASS grade...
See the comments for Nigeria in the link below. Basically, there is PASS and FAIL. I don't know if APTA has a more specific meaning in Angola.
Example sentence:

Nigeria: 40 - 44% E Pass

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Martin, and thanks also to Teresa. I was stupidly deceived by the capitalisation into thinking APTA were initials, and not simply the word "apta"."
