English term

insulation medication

English Medical Medical (general) Diabetes
I have difficuly understanding this. Help, please!
Context:

ADA diet, then switched to high-fiber, high-carb, low-fat diet. Type 1 diabetics could lower insulin medication by a (dramatic) average of 40%. Cholesterol dropped by 30%. 24 of 25 Type 2 diabetics could discontinue their insulation medication with a few weeks' time.
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (2): Yvonne Gallagher, B D Finch

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Mark Nathan May 16, 2017:
with a few weeks' time is also wrong! It should be "within a few weeks".
Nam Vo (asker) May 16, 2017:
Thank you very much, Sheila. I appreciate it!
Sheila Wilson May 16, 2017:
It's faulty English It's an error caused by the dreaded predictive text. It should read 'insulin'.
NB The ending is incorrect too, and should probably read 'within a few weeks.' - that's a human error. I'm not happy with the verb choice either, but 'could' is close enough for you to translate from.
Nam Vo (asker) May 16, 2017:
Thanks, Mark. That is first guess, but I'm just not so sure.
