Spanish term

con un predominio

Spanish to English Other Mathematics & Statistics Statistical information
Mismo documento.

Discussion

Additional context: But it is the same as above:

Needs some rewriting for clarity

I'd split it into a separate sentence for clarity. E.G. "2.58% say it is for failing to use condoms. The majority of these respondents were male."

Or "2.58%, male respondents predominantly, say it is for failing to use condoms."

It's natural to say "predominantly male/female" but that opens up potential misreadings. "males/females predominating" is accurate but clumsy.

Thanks Neil. Years ago things were simpler, I'd cheerfully have said "predominantly male" and everybody would have taken it at face value.

couple of ideas ...I believe the source text to be slightly ambiguous and would like to hear what others have to say...
