Spanish to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)

I have a question about the meaning here and whether I understand/have translated it correctly:

This is the intro to a long list of points:

No obstante, cualquiera de las partes estará facultada para terminar el Contrato con carácter inmediato o tras un período de mutuo acuerdo, cuando haya un incumplimiento culpable de las obligaciones esenciales derivadas del Contrato, en especial:

...

iii) cualquier incumplimiento no esencial por alguna de las partes, cuando este incumplimiento no sea subsanado por la otra parte en el plazo de 30 días, contado a partir del requerimiento por escrito;

My attempt:
iii) any non-fundamental breach by one of the parties, when this breach is not remedied/rectified by the other party within 30 days from written notification of the requirement

I wonder if I have misinterpreted "subsanado" - why should "the other party" have to make good the breach?
