Dear Mr. Ayyub,
Farsi solar date is different from Arabic lunar date. Although both are called 'hejira era', since they use different systems, they are different and most Muslims are not aware of this!
I have checked this date from my calendar! It is about four years ago!
The previous answer (given by someone else) is correct only if you mean Arabic lunar calendar!

The answer provided for this question suggests that 1378 in Farsi is eqv. to 1959 but this is not true.

Year 1378 is eqv. to 1999.
