Spanish term

equipos bajo llamada

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Law: Contract(s) Bid to tender
Initially, I was under the impression that 'equipo' referred to 'equipment' but now I wonder if it is referring to 'teams'. I welcome all suggestions!

equipment

I have never seen before that a team is described as having 550 HP :)
For me, it is clearly referring to equipment on demand / on call.

I think I had a small explosion in my head as the answer is perfectly obvious. What threw me off was the 'on-call'... thanks!
Peer comment(s):

agree lorenab23 : I agree, 550HP is to me a dead giveaway that we are talking about equipment

agree Luis Rey Ballesteros (Luiroi) : something like "equipment available upon request".

agree Joseph Tein : I think it's definitely drilling equipment, but there has to be a more exact/precise word ...maybe "units" "rigs" "installations" or something along those lines.

Dear Lydia, my comment was rushed and incorrect, sorry to confuse you, other responses make sence once 550 HP is a technical feature of an equipment.
Note from asker:
My thoughts exactly! So that means that 'equipos fijos' is 'full-time teams' and not 'fixed equipment'. Do you agree?
Peer comment(s):

disagree Joseph Tein : It makes NO sense to talk about a "550 HP" team (of people)

agree Jean Bellego : Same here. I was wrong. This is totally about a technical feature of an equipment.

rental equipment

They are talking about horsepower eg, 550hp, my guess is that it is rental equipment hence... bajo llamada -
