French term

Miré

French to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals
The word "miré" appears here in the context of pharmaceutical batch numbering:

Numérotation des lots fabriqués : vracs, SF, PF

Structure de la numérotation des lots :
Vrac : B12345

I cannot find any references at all to the word "miré" in this context. Is anyone able to shed some light?

agree Tony M : 'mirer' is what you do to eggs when you hold them up against a candle; I wonder if in fact this is some kind of similar inspection, for example, to make sure that all the wells in a sheet of pills have been filled?

could very well be - in current context, not sure what kind of visual inspection "mirage" implies (assuming that it implies a particular type)
