Construction of houses
I am translating a deposition of a Mexican person. He speaks of tract of houses. He says that his boss was sending him from house to house to finish the tiling. Can tract of houses be translated as colonia for the Mexican community or complejo habitacional would work?
Thanks a lot!

Complejo Habitacional
Tract housing can best be translated in Mexican spanish as "Complejo Habitacional." However, tract housing or "complejo habitacional" does not refer to someone going from house to house. Look closer at the definition of tract housing for a better understanding on this.
Example sentence:
Reference:
14 hrs
línea/cadena/serie
Tracto in law refers to a 'chain' of title.
With the digestive system it means the line or course of the intestines.
The idea here surely is that he is being send from house to house in a line, chain, series to finish the tiling.

Suerte.
