puede que os disguste algo..

I would like to know what will be the best way to traslate this phrase from European Spanish into American English.

Will be okay to translate as: It is possible to be upset by something...?

Here is the full Spanish phrase:

Puede que os disguste algo que os conviene y ameis algo que no os conviene.

Hi there!
I would write "You may dislike something that is good for you, and love something that is not."

You may not like something which suits you and love something which does not suit you.

I say this but it may be a 'frase hecha' which I have not come across, or an established 'dicho' or 'refran' unknown to me. In which case there may be an equivalence in English. Hence my confidence is only medium.

Hi Bill, Will be this the best way to translate it into American English? Best regards, Yugoslavia
