"Vestizione" means "putting on clothes," which sounds a lot like "getting dressed". Both phrases make it sound like someone is putting on their clothes for the day, which would normally not take place by the front door, I would imagine. I think these are clothes for going out. Since we don't know the climate or the temperature outside, I think it's best not to mention the clothes specifically, unless you know what sort of clothes are needed.
I think this conveys the right idea.
