Hi!
I'm translating a short text from Spanish into English and the title is: "REC: el RECuento de los falsos RECuerdos"
Any suggestion to translate it so that words in English can also have "REC"?

RECounting false RECalls
You recall to mind things you remember, like recuerdos...hope it works for you ! And to recount is to tell the story of something..

Recount / Recollections
I think that "recuento" is normally just a count, rather than a recount (although no context has been given here), but you may be able to use it here, with recollections rather than memories to so that you have REC. Is it definitely necessary to retain REC, or could you use other letters that are repeated?

Andrew Bramhall
: Recuento means to' tell again 'here, surely

You may be right Oliver, but in that case "recount" would still be ok

Re-tell of false memories
I think that recount is more use in the sense of adding and not to tell a story.
Re-tell = tell again or or tell in a diferent way or language (Oxford Advanced Dictionary)

Just my two cents...
A different way of saying what everyone else has already opined.
