Note that here it seems to be referring to bracing more than one connector, so the plural will be required in FR (but not in EN!)
It seems clear that this is some kind of steadying or strengthening piece, so I think' renfort' is probably along the right lines.

'supprot' is certianly a possibility — though more like the use of 'support' in EN than in FR!
From your drawing (not 100 clear!), it doesn't seem to me this is the actual thing on which the connectors are mounted (= support [FR]); but rather, and additional piece used to reinforce or give additional support to the connectors; however, it's really hard to tell, even with the help of the diagram, just what form this part takes, and exactly what its function is.
