Here's another word that I can't quite figure out and can't find anywhere. I hope there will be someone out there who has come across it and knows what it is in English.
Here is the context:
XX XXX (Senior Engineer) está al frente del desarrollo del tubo con pastón, el proceso se está poniendo a punto en la planta de XXXX, Texas.
1.a. PROCESO CONTINUO TUBERÍAS EPOXI, VINIL- ESTER:
En esta planta hay unas 10 máquinas en paralelo, este proceso tiene unos 30 años en uso. Cada línea tiene unos 70 m de largo, los tubos que vimos eran de Ø 2" a 3".
El proceso comienza con el arrollamiento de papel (tipo madera) donde 2 bobinas giran alrededor de un mandril que también tiene movimiento giratorio. El papel tiene Teflón externo, se le coloca un adhesivo y luego una lluvia de agua. Este papel que recubre al mandril giratorio pasa a un horno eléctrico que envuelve al mandril donde el papel queda sellado (secado).
