English term
outward yield shift
English to Dutch
Bus/Financial
Finance (general)
real estate companies
Het gaat over Britse vastgoedbedrijven.
Context:
The Fund has a UK overweight and the UK was one of only 3 major European markets to finish in positive territory, in Q3. Since early July when a number of UK companies reported disappointing H1 earnings, UK stocks rallied heavily, especially compared to the rest of Europe. The outlook for the UK economy is very uncertain, and the direct markets could see further falls in capital values, perhaps as much as a further 30% in addition to the 20% seen so far since the peak. We believe that the outward yield shift this implies, has been on the whole more effectively captured in the share price of UK companies. We therefore expect UK listed companies to out-perform their continental counterparts.
