In the pro video world, an artist's demo reel is a compilation of work that he has done himself at the various places where he has worked, and generally consists of a sequence of very short sections (just a few seconds) of the best parts of each of the jobs that he has worked on, all strung together and placed to an up-beat sound track. In Spanish, this is usually called "la torta". So when, for example, a video editor or a post-production vide effects artist is applying for a job, he will be asked to take along his "torta" to the interview, and be prepared to explain it. At least in Chile and Peru this is the common term.

It is also commonly just called a "demo reel", even in Spanish. Not just individual artists but also companies have "tortas". For example, a post production house will often send out their latest "torta" on DVD to prospective new customers each year. Equipment manufacturers also send out "tortas" with examples of work done using their systems.
