In this decision making, I essentially had 3 options: start recouperating my personal life by reducing the offices, bring someone else down to run one, or close them completely. Although the first two would be better financially, I am doing the third, because I work hard to maintain a certain level of expertise in the office, bringing new methods to Peru to help more people, etc. I cannot justify letting this level of ***professionalism slip***.

Si se toma en cuenta la oración anterior ("I work hard to maintain ***a certain level of expertise*** in the office"), en la que viene de último ("I cannot justify letting **this level of professionalism*** slip), SLIP es un VERBO, no un SUSTANTIVO.
No puedo justificar que ESTE nivel (refiriéndose al nivel de experiencia [o como hayas traducido "level of expertise"] anterior) de profesionalismo decaiga/desaparezca/merme.
