Any tool that requires you to memorise the source text before typing your translation. In other words, any tool that puts the translation next to the source text, instead of underneath it.

Can you explain how a CAT tool that "puts the translation next to the source text, instead of underneath it" means you have to memorise the source text. As far as I can tell, whether the src/trgt are next to each other or above/below each other makes no difference.
