Hi,
According to my Turkish etymological dictionary, this word means “kapı tokmağı” (doorknocker), “sürgü” (bolt) or “tokaç” (a kind of oar-shaped clothes stick used for beating washing).
However, I am unable to trace this word in Persian – does it exist at all, or is my dictionary simply wrong. If it does exist, please write it in Persian and give the pronunciation.
I'd better mark this as potentially offensive, as another meaning may be “pimp”.
All the best,
Simon
