I am a Turkish-English-Kurdish translator and localization expert based in Ireland with experience in Technical
and Medical Translation. I have a B.A. in English Language Teaching from Turkey and am currently
completing the MA in Translation at Queen’s University Belfast. I utilize Computer-Assisted Translation
tools in my practice, including Trados and Passolo.

I am also a competent researcher as well as a proficient Microsoft Office user. I started Ebru Kapici
Translations back in 2011 and on completion of my Master’s degree, I plan to go back and further
develop my business both in Turkey and abroad. While I work, I refresh and update my knowledge with
reading papers about both academic and translation market. I’m really meticulous about my work so that
I would like to use most recent information and technology to produce best possible piece.

I enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction as well as keeping myself up-to-date by reading the international
media. My hobbies include playing video games, board games, travelling, collecting information about
different cultures, reading about nutrition and healthy foods as well as watching different movies.
