[Studio 2011] Copy source on no match doesn't work in a specific project created from package

I have a project in which the source is not automatically copied to target column when no translation is found, despite the setting in Tools > Options. This project has been created from a PPX package. In all other projects it works as usual. What can cause this behavior?
