Thank you, David. Everything I have seen so far points to the fact that you need qualifications to start with. Maybe if you're already in the industry and have experience, the lack of formal qualifications won't be such an issue. But for someone starting, or starting over as in my case, it is really difficult. Hence my initial post. I have applied for many opportunities, but training seems to be always an issue. Will probably have to think about this more carefully.
