Source text - English He had drifted a long way in a short space of time. The bank was disappearing in twilight and the mist which was creeping along water, over mountain tops, melting the outline of hills, moulding the bank into luminescent haze.
He pulled on the handle again. This time the engine coughed twice and died. The next time tit ran and then it stalled after a second or two, but the fourth attempt produced a sudden thundering roar of power, a massive heaving, bubbling, smoking inferno which surged the boat forward, pushing its bows into the air as it gathered speed.
Translation - Romanian A plutit așa, în derivă, o distanță lungă într-un timp destul de scurt. Țărmul dispărea în amurg și în boarea care se strecura deasupra apei, de-a lungul piscurilor, topind dealurile și linia țărmului în perdeaua cețoasă de lumină.
