Currently living and working
as a freelance translator in Berlin, Germany, I graduated as “Magister phil.”
(equivalent to a Master’s degree) of Spanish and German Philology from the University
of Vienna in Austria. As part of my education I received a competitive
scholarship in advanced Spanish language studies at the Universitat de
Barcelona. In 2009, I moved to Philadelphia and later to Phoenix where lived
until 2019.
I provide professional
translation and editing services for individuals, businesses and academics.
Among others, I have translated a Ph.D. dissertation for publication and the
German audio tour script for Philadelphia’s Eastern State Penitentiary
Historical Site. Additionally, I collaborate with several agencies worldwide as
a freelance translator, transcreator and copywriter. As well, I am an
established writer and photographer for the non-profit Austrian newspaper
“20er” with a circulation of 15,000-20,000 editions per month. www.20er.at
