I found ProZ.com quite useful initially (the term search, KudoZ, the glossaries, etc.), but it really came into its own when I became a paying member. Now, nearly all of my jobs come through my ProZ.com profile, and through repeat requests from regular clients, and I can't remember the last time I actually bid for a job.

The Blue Board is extremely useful for filtering out undesirable clients (bad/slow payers) - a feature that is only available to full members, but it is worth its weight in gold.

J’apprécie également la possibilité de pouvoir obtenir des informations sur les agences de traduction et les donneurs d’ordre en général grâce au Blue Board (certes non exhaustif, mais ô combien utile !), et de l’aide en cas de besoin avec les KudoZ. Kudoz to ProZ.com and their Blueboard for translator and agency ratings!! It's worth being a paying member. I just let a company with late payment know that I was aware they had some negative feedback and that I would add mine by the end of the week if I did not receive payment by then. I also started following their profiles on LinkedIn. 5 minutes later I received my payment via Wise!
