My name is Bert Huisman and I founded Docs-consult in 2008. I was born and raised in Thesinge, just north of the Dutch city of Groningen, and for me, common sense and a no-nonsense approach come as standard.

After vocational education in engineering and 14 months military service, I gained vast international working experience with DeLaval, a worldwide manufacturer of dairy farm equipment. I get lots of pleasure out of applying this experience, and my knowledge of English and German, as well as my passion for travelling in my own one-man business.

As far as spare time is concerned, if I ever have any, I like to spend it taking care of our three horses. I also read a lot, including many newspapers, trade journals and books on history and international affairs. I really should get some more exercise, like cycling, jogging and swimming...
