English to Slovenian: Organic farming and textile industry
Source text - English Organic Exchange is a non-profit organization committed to expanding organic agriculture. It focuses on increasing the production and use of organically grown fibres – such as cotton. Organic farming is more sustainable and will reduce pollution in those countries such as India. Together with OE the XX Initiative for Social Development has launched a number of projects in 2007 to invest in ‘Bio-Farming’ and increase the availability of Organic Cotton.

Focused on improving lives and livelihoods of organic farmers around the world
The program of XX Initiative for Social Development and OE enables the farming projects to supply organic cotton into the XX supply chain on a more sustainable basis:
Farm capacity building: monthly training programs, supported by farm visits and consultations for sharing best management practices
Supply chain capacity building: Contamination Reduction, Quality Improvements
Community capacity building: investments in water, education and health care facilities
Translation - Slovenian Ekološka borza je neprofitna organizacija, katere namen je širjenje ekološkega kmetijstva. Osredotoča se na povečanje pridelave in uporabe ekološko pridelanih vlaken – kot je bombaž. Ekološka pridelava je trajnostna in bo zmanjšala onesnaženje v državah, kot je Indija. Skupaj z Ekološko borzo je v letu 2007 podjetje XX v okviru programa Pobuda za socialni razvoj lansiralo številne projekte za investiranje v »bio-pridelavo« in povečanje razpoložljivosti ekološkega bombaža.
Program Ekološke borze za razvoj kmetij
Osredotočena na izboljšanje življenja in preživljanja ekoloških kmetov po svetu,
program Pobuda za socialni razvoj podjetja XX in Ekološka borza omogočata kmetijskim projektom trajnejšo dobavo ekološkega bombaža v dobavno verigo podjetja XX:
– Povečevanje storilnosti kmetij: mesečni programi usposabljanja, ki vključujejo obiskovanje kmetij in posvetovanja o najboljših praksah upravljanja;
– Povečevanje storilnosti dobavnih verig: znižanje onesnaženja, izboljšanje kakovosti;
– Povečevanje storilnosti skupnosti: investicije v vodo, izobraževanje in zdravstvene ustanove.
