The chart is turned into a digital format through a table of digitalization, without
intermediate passages. Reproduction accuracy shall be tested through comparison

reproduction accuracy of the raster image, which is the intermediate step in the
process: hence by comparing the geographic coordinates of each element/feature
measured on paper with those of the matching element/feature in the ECS
