The film stars Will, who is released from prison on compassionate leave to care for his niece Stacey, after the death of her mother. As they both head into the sleepy Irish midlands and attempt to be a family, they suffer a series of setbacks; Stacey is refused admission to the local school because of her recently developed narcolepsy; Will repeatedly comes close to breaking his prison-ordered curfew; and his attempts at being a father figure to her prove disastrous…
The Candidate
The story of the film The Candidate takes place during two months of a campaign prior to non-specific presidential elections in one specific country. The author of the journal entries has no idea who he is recording the wiretaps for and his enthusiasm for the interesting assignment, in which he monitors a bishop, a crazy advertising agency owner and an indistinct presidential candidate with a distinct name and a rich family history, soon turns to disgust and confusion.
The Way Out
The story of Žaneta and David, and their struggle to survive. Their unemployment and their difficulty in communicating with officials are both products of the frequent prejudices against the Roma. The piling-up of debts leads David to consider committing a crime in order to help his family.

Unexpectedly, Poli decides to go with Victor to a family villa. The two cannot resist the temptation. Victor finds an instinctive way to make a revenge on his father. Alexander is not suspecting anything and keeps trying to carry out his own views on beauty upon their joint living. In vain – faith indends differently.
