Bio

A reliable and professional partner who delivers fluent and accurate translations from Chinese into English, I have more than 10 years of freelance translation and proofreading experience and an additional 5 years of in-house business writing and translation experience. I am currently a Candidate for Certification, Translation with the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO), and I specialize in marketing, legal and gaming/entertainment. 


While living in Asia for 8 years between 1998 and 2006, I studied Chinese at Taiwan National Normal University in Taipei and the Hopkins-Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies in Nanjing, and subsequently worked in Beijing for 3 years in public relations. Currently based in Toronto, Canada, I have translated close to 1 million words in my career, and regularly enjoy glowing feedback from my clients.
