A college graduate (BA in Psychology, Spanish Language & Literature; minor in Women's Studies) from Temple University in Philadelphia, I am currently working in a free-standing birth center that involves some interpretation and writing. I taught English for a year in Pamplona, Spain.

I've been a writer for what seems like my entire life. In high school and university, I was very much involved in the student newspaper. In addition, throughout my studies in social science and humanities departments, I had a lot of experience writing and editing academic papers.

On my profile, I name psychology as one of my specializations, not only because it was my major in university, but also because I have 3 years' experience in a psychology research environment. Healthcare is becoming more of a specialization as I advance in my new profession as a client service associate in a bilingual women's health office that offers prenatal and gynecological care.
