intermediate phone call between Visit 8 and Visit 9 Explanation: The V refers to "Visita" ... as scheduled by the protocol for following subjects in the clinical trial. There is usually a schedule of visits (to check on the subjects's health, response to treatment, occurrence of adverse events) and they are V1, V2 ... etc. until the EOS (end-of-study) Visit.
