Si fa riferimento ad una società che si occupa della gestione di una tenuta agricola.
il Garzanti traduce società semplice

Explanation:
o "non lucrativa".
In astratto anche "società semplice" è corretto, tuttavia si tratta di una forma societaria praticamente scomparsa, sostituita di fatto da associazioni o cooperative.
Potrebbe anche esserre tradotta "società non commerciale", ma francamente non mi piace molto questo termine.
