Il n'y a aucun doute que le compostage des restes de table, des feuilles et des résidus du jardinage réduit de diverses manières l'impact des activités humaines sur l'environnement. Non seulement le compostage permet d'économiser les ressources affectées aux lieux d'enfouissement, mais il produit une précieuse matière qui sert à amender le sol et réduit le besoin de pesticides et d'engrais chimiques et leur utilisation.
Les « déchets » que nous produisons à la maison peuvent aider à faire pousser des plantes et des légumes sans avoir à quitter la cour ou le balcon. Souvent surnommé « or noir », le compost est un produit semblable à la terre et dérivé d'un processus biologique naturel qui convertit les matières organiques, comme les restes de table, les feuilles et les résidus du jardinage en excellent conditionneur de sol riche en éléments nutritifs.
La valeur du compostage
Le compostage de matières organiques comporte de multiples bénéfices. Environ 40 à 50 p. 100 des déchets domestiques sont constitués de matières organiques qui pourraient être séparées des ordures destinées au lieu d'enfouissement. Le compostage a un effet considérable sur les besoins en matière de capacité des lieux d'enfouissement lorsque les gens dévient les déchets domestiques, les feuilles et les résidus du jardinage vers un composteur domestique ou une installation de compostage centralisé.
En outre, il découle du compostage un produit qui élimine le besoin de pesticides et d'engrais chimiques. Riche en matières organiques, le compost fini peut améliorer la texture et la fertilité du sol. On peut s'en servir à de nombreuses fins, dont le jardinage, l'aménagement paysager et le soin des plantes d'intérieur.

Without a doubt, composting leftovers, leaves and gardening waste reduces our impact on the environment. Composting not only allows resources to be saved a trip to the dump, it produces a valuable material that enriches soil and reduces the need for pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
The "waste" that we produce in the house can help plants and vegetables sprout and grow without having to leave the yard or the balcony. Often nicknamed "black gold", compost is a product much like soil itself and is derived from a natural biological process that converts organic matter such as table scraps, leaves and gardening residues into an excellent soil conditioner rich in nutrients.
The Value of Composting
Composting brings many benefits. About 40 to 50 percent of domestic wastes is made up of organic matter that could be separated from garbage fated for the dump. Composting considerably reduces the need for converting land into dumps, once people separate out and divert their household waste, leaves and garden waste to a household compost pile or a larger centralized installation.
What’s more, composting ends with a product that eliminates the need for pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Rich in organic matter, finished compost can improve the texture and the fertility of the soil and can be used for many purposes: for gardening, landscaping, or just to feed the plants on the windowsill.

fikačný zákon požadoval prenesenie sídiel spoločností na
československé územie, prípadne osamostatnenie pobočiek
na tomto území. Nové usporiadanie rozbilo rakúsko-uhorský
trh a colnicami novovzniknutých štátov oddelilo jednotlivé
podniky siete nadnárodnej spoločnosti Palugyayovcov. Zánikom
monarchie prišla firma i o možnosť vrátenia vojnových
pôžičiek, ktoré predtým poskytla štátu. Z filiálok v Budapešti,
Terste, Krakove a vo Varadíne sa stali samostatné podniky.
Obchodná spoločnosť „Jakub Palugyay a synovia” zanikla
a centrum v Bratislave sa zmenilo na akciovú spoločnosť. Napriek
vysokému úveru spoločnosť až do roku 1924 vykazovala
rastúci zisk. Nástup krízy sa nezadržateľne blížil – spoločnosti
a vinohradom neprialo ani počasie s jesennými dažďami
a tuhými zimami. Staré vedenie sa rozpadávalo a spoločnosť
sa dostávala pod kontrolu Živnostenskej banky. História spoločnosti
končí v roku 1939, niekoľko rokov pred stým výročím
otvorenia prvej Palugyayovej reštaurácie na Železnej studničke,
dražbou majetku...
Palugyayov palác bol postavený v rokoch 1868–1879 ako reprezentatívne sídlo spoločnosti Palugyay & synovia. Po období rozmachu ho v druhej polovici 20. storočia postihla rozsiahla morálna a fyzická devastácia.
Zmenou vlastníka objektu, ktorým sa v 90. rokoch 20. storočia stalo Ministerstvo zahraničných vecí Slovenskej republiky, sa vytvorili podmienky pre revitalizáciu národnej kultúrnej pamiatky.
Palugyayov palác v Bratislave sa po ukončení komplexnej rekonštrukcie stal
reprezentačno-administratívnym sídlom vrcholnej diplomatickej inštitúcie Slovenskej republiky.
Prípravné a projektové práce sa uskutočnili v rokoch 1999–2000
a samotná rekonštrukcia v rokoch 2000–2002.

The Republic of Czechoslovakia came into being on October 28th, 1918. The validation law of the new state required the transfer of the firm's headquarters onto Czechoslovak territory, breaking the firm up if necessary into independent branches. The new arrangements also splintered the Austro-Hungarian market and the customs barriers of the newly formed states now divided the separate enterprises of the supra-national Palugyay firm. With the fall of the monarchy the firm abandoned all hope of recovering its war loans, which formerly had been guaranteed by the state. Affiliates in Budapest, Trieste, Krakow and Varadine (present-day Novy Sad) turned into independent companies and the firm of Palugyay and Sons ceased to exist; its former hub in Bratislava became a stock company. Despite heavy debts, the new company enjoyed steadily rising profits up untill 1924. Crisis after crisis then battered the firm and the vineyards – autumn rains and bitter winters. The old management departed and the firm came under the control of the Credit Bank. In 1939, only a few years before the anniversary of the opening of the first Palugyay restaurant at the Iron Springs, all the firm’s property was auctioned off.
The Palugyay Palace
The Palugyay Palace was built between 1868-1879 as a ceremonial seat of the firm of Jakub Palugyay and Sons, prosperous hoteliers and vintners of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. After the era of expansion and growth collapsed in the First World War the building was overtaken in the second half of the twentieth century by moral and physical devastation.
Changes in ownership of the building, which in the 1990s became the seat of the Slovak Foreign Ministry, have permitted the revitalization of a national cultural monument.
Following the complex reconstruction, the Palugyay Palace in Bratislava has become the ceremonial and administrative seat of the top diplomatic institutions of the Slovak Republic.
Preparatory and project work was carried out from 1999-2000 and the reconstruction itself in 2000-2002.

1. In the case however of a mere minor contractual breach and, in particular, in the case of merely minor defects, Customer shall have no right of revocation.
