Da misure EXAFS si ottengono informazioni sulla distribuzione media delle distanze interatomiche ( = <\|r2 – r1\|>), mentre la diffrazione (riflessi di Bragg) fornisce la distanza tra le posizioni atomiche medie (R = \|< r1 > - < r2 >\|).	Çeviri - İngilizce Extended X-Ray Absorption Fine Structure (EXAFS) has recently been used to study the local atomic dynamics underlying NTE in highly symmetrical systems (Cu2O, Ag2O and CuCl) [1,2]. The local character of the information which is obtainable using spectroscopic techniques highlights those structural aspects which can only be integrated within the RUMs model with difficulty. X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy is a technique which is sensitive to the local structure around a specific atomic type (atom absorber). By using EXAFS measurements, information can be obtained about the mean distribution of the interatomic distances ( = <\|r2 – r1\|>), while the diffraction measurements (Bragg reflections) supply the distance between the mean atomic positions (R = \|< r1 > - < r2 >\|).
