One of my clients plans to write a new documentation in AsciiDoc, a markup language similar to Markdown or Wikitext, but a bit more versatile. Studio 2017 has no native support so far. Does anyone have some experience with translating AsciiDoc files? Thank you in advance!

Translate as HTML?

Translate it after conversion?
Thanks, Ruth, but this is only a workaround. It would be much better in the sense of single-source publishing to translate the source that is in AsciiDoc. In this case in addition, the source files will be placed in a repository from which the HTML content will be created automatically. Therefore, it will be very cumbersome to grab all HTML pages, translate them and upload them again. I really wonder why markup languages are not supported by Studio. Markup languages (I mean the ones like Markdown rather than the commonly used ones like HTML) may be used in certain fairly limited applications, such as website forums and app documentation, but how often do such documents get translated? And from the perspective of a CAT tool supplier, which one of the many dialects should be supported? It might be difficult for them to make the case for investing in support for something like this.
