Importing TXT files into Translation Memory

Hi there! I have Studio 2011 a also wondered why SDL doesn't make it easier.

Here is my way to get TM in TXT format into my SDL TM:

1) Use Upgrade translation memory function to convert TXT file into TMW file.
2) Use Upgrade translation memory function to convert TMW file into SDLTM file.
3) In the Translation Memories pane open the SDLTM file.
4) Right click the newly opened TM (SDLTM file) and choose Export.

2) Use Upgrade translation memory function to convert TMW file into SDLTM file.
3) In the Translation Memories pane open the SDLTM file.
4) Right click the newly opened TM (SDLTM file) and choose Export.
5) The finally produced TMX file can be now imported into your TM so you can start to work.

Question to SDL developers - why don't you just program this conversion so it doesn't have to be done manually in such a complicated manner?

I know that it is an ancient thread, but I have the same problem and downloaded the Xbench Agent which is now listed in my plug-ins on Studio 2014, but I still don't know who to open the txt file with the Xbench Agent. Anybody can help?
