A friend’s daughter wishing to specialise as a medical translator has asked me to recommend any dictionaries, databases, glossaries, stale manuals etc that I normally use in medical translation and revision/proofing projects. However, although I do have a bash at it from time to time, medical translation is not my speciality and I don't have any specific dictionaries etc for the medical area. As Helen said, you need to tell us what languages this person wants to work in. This is VERY vague ... more clarity and precision will bring you better information. | |
