It is a pity, that the plugin Codestyling Localization is no longer being developed. With which other plugin did you have good experiences so far translating a WordPress website, professional themes and plugins?

I have used Polylang for a long time. It has multilanguage switching capability, but you don't have to use that function. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you are looking for.
