By unknown cause I cannot import the notes from PowerPoint 2016 files. All filters are set as required:

I import *.pptx files. DejaVu 9.0.736.

Microsoft Office (Live) is a comparatively new filter and is still being developed and improved. Try re-importing the file and using the older filter called "Microsoft Word".

Or you can try saving your source file in an older PowerPoint version.

One of these two might work.

Pavel, how can I import a pptx file with the use of Microsoft Word filter?

Besides, saving the pptx file in PP 2003 format didn't solve the issue -- the notes are lost!

what about unchecking the "Ignore Slide notes" checkbox and re-importing?

The filters are adjusted properly. Unfortunately, the notes are lost after importing ....

Also, these notes... if they are not very big, can you translate them manually without importing in déjà vu x3?

Unfortunately, the notes in my source are essential part of the presentation.

In principle, posting to this forum, I would like to know, if the feature of importing the notes works or doesn't work in DejaVu?

I have just tried to import a *.pptx file with notes. All notes are imported. Could be that something wrong with your system: PC or DéjàVu. I don't know, but the notes + slides' import works on my machine.
