Yes. And I always ignore badly small volume jobs. I wonder how clients evaluate and value my translation capability.

It does not help that much with some translation companies, though, especially those that have no clue about translation. They still have to pay you, and if they cannot tell if the work is good or bad, which is the case with 80% of the outsourcers in my estimates, how are they going to pay you your best rate—the rate that is best for you or at least what you consider fair.

That is why so many great people died in utter poverty, like Mozart.
